Sheridan Blue Streak CB9 History, Specifications, Specs, and Information

Along with the Crosman Pumpmaster 760 (1966) and the Crosman American Classic Pump Pistol (1977), the Sheridan Blue Streak is one of the most historic multiple pump air rifles on the market. Origins of the Blue Streak date back to the 1950s.

The current version of this powerful .20 Caliber Variable Pump Air Rifle has been manufactured and sold by the Crosman Corporation since 2003 with an American Hardwood Stock and forearm and a blued rifle barrel. Crosman acquired the Benjamin Sheridan Corporation in February 1992. Although the overall look and feel of the Sheridan Blue Streak remain the same, subtle changes in materials have been made to ensure overall quality and affordability.

Very similar rifles were introduced in 1991 under the Benjamin label as the Benjamin 392 and the Benjamin 397. The 397 is a .177 caliber air rifle that a achieves a maximum velocity of 800 fps and the 392 is a .22 caliber air rifle that achieves a maximum velocity of 685 fps.
