Crosman recommends only the use of Crosman 12g CO2 Powerlets in the Crosman 2240 Air Pistol. These CO2 cartridges are made for optimum compatibility with this air gun. Use of other CO2 cartridges may cause injury and cause the air gun to malfunction or lose power.Use the Crosman 459MTC Intermount to mount optics onto the 2240. The 459MTC provides a 3/8" Dovetail to which scopes and sights can be affixed using dovetail rings. The Crosman Red Dot Sight will affix directly to the intermount system.
