The Crosman Silhouette PCP Pistol Model 1700P is a .177 Caliber PCP Air Pistol that achieves a maximum velocity of up to 550 fps. The 1700P was introduced in 2011 as a target shooting / competition air pistol building off of the Crosman Challenger PCP. The 1700P is still a great air pistol with it's precision rifled barrel and compressed air power source.
In 2011, Crosman released the Crosman Silhouette 1701P. There is not a whole lot changed on the 1701P, however their are a couple of differences of which to take note. There is an upgraded front sight post on the separated barrel. Previously, the muzzle of the 1700P rested on the pressure reservoir, but the 1701P floats with touching.
Both the 1700P and 1701P are powered only by 3,000PSI of Compressed Air and can be filled with the Benjamin High Pressure Hand Pump or Scuba Tanks with proper accessories. See accessories for more information.
