The Benjamin Marauder .22 Caliber Model BP2263 (Check Price Now) is a bolt action .22 pellet repeater Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air rifle that achieves a maximum velocity of up to 1,000 fps. Released for sale in 2010, Benjamin built on the revolutionary Benjamin Discovery released in 2009. Like the Discovery, the Marauder is a "Dual Fuel" air gun meaning that it can be charged/filled with shooter's choice of compressed air or CO2 (one or the other). The Marauder can be purchased in a .177 Caliber, .22 Caliber, or .25 Caliber.

Benjamin Marauder .22 Caliber Specifications, Specs, and Information

The Marauder is a Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) Air gun that is powered by compressed air and operates between 2,000 and 3,000 PSI. A special high pressure hand pump will allow shooters to manually charge the Marauder or the Marauder can be filled using compressed air from Scuba tanks with additional attachments. The Marauder can also be filled with CO2 giving this air rifle the "Dual Fuel" designation. Additional accessories are required for charging the air gun.

Recommended Maintenance: Apply Crosman RMCOIL Silicone Chamber Oil to the Barrel O-Ring every 500 shots or every 3 months. Use a moly graphite EP Grease every 3 months or 500 shots on the sliding bolt mechanism. Apply as directed in the Owner's Manual (see below).

The Benjamin Marauder .22 Caliber is made to use only .22 Caliber Pellets. Standard weight 14.3 +/- .22 Cal lead air gun pellets work well in the Marauder. Use of lightweight pellets may cause the air gun to be louder as a result of high muzzle velocities potentially breaking the sound barrier.
