.177 Caliber BBs and Ammo

The Walther CP99 Compact fires .177 Caliber Steel Air Gun Shot BBs only. The CP99 does not fire any other type of projectile and using any other type of object to load and fire the CP99 may cause injury to the shooter or others.

Types of acceptable .177 Caliber BBs include the RWS Matchgrade Steel BB, Daisy Precision Max Zinc Plated BBs, and Crosman Copperhead Copper Coated BBs. Do not attempt to reuse ammunition as the BBs will not maintain the proper shape after being fired and will cause the air gun to jam or be damaged.

CO2 Cartridges, Air Gun Accessories, and Targets

The CP99 Compact uses only 12g CO2 Cartridges only . Use of other types of gas will cause the air gun to malfuncition and may cause injury to the shooter or others. Types of acceptable CO2 Cartridges include Walther 12g CO2 Cartridges, Daisy 12g CO2 Cartridges, Crosman 12g CO2 Powerlets, Gamo 12g CO2 Cartridges and Umarex 12g CO2 Cartridges.

The CP99 Compact uses a removable 18 BB magazine. Use a Umarex Universal BB Speedloader to easily reload the magazine. Additional magazines can also be purchased for even quicker reloads and faster shooting.
