The Crosman Phantom 1000 Break Barrel Air Rifle (Check Price Now) is a powerful .177 caliber single shot spring powered pellet air gun that achieves a shooting velocity of up to 1,000 fps with Crosman and Benjamin Branded .177 caliber pellets.

The Crosman Phantom 1000 has two model numbers. The C1K77 is purchased without a scope, and the CS1K77X is purchased with the AR22 CenterPoint 4x32mm scope.  The Phantom comes standard with an all-weather synthetic stock, fiber optic sights, and a rifled steel barrel.  The Phantom can be used for target shooting, pest control, and some small game hunting with the appropriate pellets.

The Crosman Phantom 1000 and 1000x Spring Powered Break Barrel Air Rifle was introduced by Crosman in 2006.  The Phantom's model number (CS1K77) indicates a very close relationship to the Crosman Quest 1000 (C1K77) which was introduced by Crosman in 2004.  An examination of the specifications of these two great air rifles reveals that they are very, very similar.

The Quest and Phantom both weigh in at 6.02 pounds, but the Phantom is .5 inches shorter than the Quest.  The most noticeable difference between the Quest and the Phantom is that the Phantom is made with an all-weather synthetic stock and the Quest is made with an American Hardwood stock
